I cast my vote yesterday in Placer County, CA. This area has been traditionally deep, deep red but this year some of that may changing. It mainly has to do with the Charlie Brown campaign here in the CA 4th Congressional District. More after the jump...
The big thing I noticed is that early voting appears to be very light. I walked right up to the counter and didn't have to wait a second. For one I don't think many people know about early voting here in California and the only location for it in Placer County is at the County Clerk's office. When I sat down to fill out my ballot there was one person voting. I was so happy to cast my vote for Obama/Biden, Charlie Brown and No on 8 (Break their spirits!). I was kind of wondering if the local republicans are a little disheartened with the way this year's election seems to be going. We can only hope. And as Kos says "let's throw them an anchor!"
